Our philosophy is to place the People’s kitchen at the heart of the community to provide
scrumptious food while supporting local social initiatives, as follows:
1. Sell exciting and delicious food based on a diversified selection of world cuisines.
2. Support local social projects towards addressing the problems of hunger and loneliness
amongst OAPs.
3. On occasions, make our facilities available to community leaders and youth workers to assist
the unemployed young in obtaining food business skills, food education and customer
service experience.
The People’s Kitchen has invited experienced food entrepreneurs and their teams to become
Members of PK-W12.
Membership categories consist of Bronze, Silver and Gold which will entitle
members to use a varying degree of cooking facilities, customer serving area and storage space. In
return, Members shall be required to support community leaders on a few initiatives towards
helping OAPs and the young unemployed. See Table 1 below for a summary of what’s provided and
the obligations of each Membership type.
